He’s been making music for 36 years, with a style rooted in blues, classic rock, alternative, hard rock, and heavy metal. Influenced by Jerry Cantrell, Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons, and Zakk Wylde, his sound is raw and powerful.

Scott "Scooter Dale" Jeffers has been playing drums for over 40 years and adds backup vocals for Cardboard Dale. Influenced by legends like John Densmore, Mitch Mitchell, Jo Jones, Steve Smith, Buddy Rich, Chris Layton, Tommy Lee, John Bonham, Jack DeJohnette, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Frank Beard, Ed Christensen, Alex Van Halen, Billy Mason, and Shaw Wilson, his style blends hard rock, classic rock, old country, heavy metal, and alternative.
Scott brings raw energy and power behind the kit, keeping every show tight and rolling. Whether it’s rock, country, blues, or swing, he plays with a signature style that stays true to each genre. A passionate songwriter and freelance recording artist, Jeffers' professional music career has spanned more than three decades, and he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.
Shawn "Trucker Dale" Gaston
Shawn "Trucker Dale" Gaston holds down the low end for Cardboard Dale, playing bass and singing background and occasional lead vocals. With 47 years of experience, his style is shaped by bass greats like Geddy Lee, Flea, and Les Claypool. A Nashville recording artist, he’s played iconic venues like Tootsie’s and Kid Rock’s. Over the years, he’s shared the stage with acts like Montgomery Gentry, David Allan Coe, Marshall Tucker, Doug Stone, Jerry Reed, the Kentucky Headhunters, Foghat, Little Jimmy Dickens, Gary Allan, and Confederate Railroad.
Shawn’s unmatched experience and deep musical roots shine through every performance. Having shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country and rock, he brings pro-level skill and heart to the Cardboard Dale lineup.
